More Christmas Cards

 Hi

I can't seem to stop (a) making Christmas Cards and (b) playing with the Whimsy & Wonder bundle from Stampin' Up.  I am in love.

This was my next project for my friends when we got together at the weekend.  This is not my design, I found it on Pinterest by Gail Ellis of https://bluerosepapertreasures.blogspot.com.  I changed it slightly, but not a lot as I totally loved this design.

The card base is 12.5cm x 12.5cm

The Mint Macaron layer is 12cm x 12cm embossed using the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder.  I then cut the white scalloped card using the larges of the scalloped rectangle dies from the Stitched So Sweetly die set.

I cut 2 of the wreaths from the Sparkle of the Season die set, one in the "Be Dazzling" 6 x 6 Speciality Papers from the current Sale-a-bration and the 2nd out of white cardstock.

I then die cut the holly leaves, also from the Sparkle of Season die set, coloured 3 of the Pearl Basic Jewels in Polished Pink.  Cut 3 little parcels from the Whimsy & Wonder DSP and put on dimensionals.  The sentiment is from Whimsical Trees stamp set, cut out using the Classic Label punch (now retired).  I finished by adding 3 little Basic Jewels.

The inside sentiment piece is: Mint Macaron cut at 12cm x 12cm and white cardstock cut at 11.5cm x 11.5cm.  The sentiment and holly are both from the Whimsical Trees stamp set.

This is a beautiful card in non-traditional colours.

Stay safe and well

Stampin' Friends

Hi all

Hope you're all keeping safe and well.

Every now and then some friends and I get together for some crafting fun.  We each produce a project and put a kit together for each of the others.

This was my project for the last time we got together.

It's a gift card wallet.  I've used Stampin' Up Whimsy & Wonder bundle.  Such beautiful colours and imagery.

The dimensions for this are:

Piece of Polished Pink cardstock measuring 23cm x 6.5cm, scored at 4.5cm and 15cm.  The little cut outs for the giftcard are from another brand.

The DSP for the cover are:

1 x 4.2cm x 6.2cm

2 x 9.8cm x 6.2cm

The insert card for your personal message is 9.8cm x 6.2cm.

I put a piece of Pool Party Sheer Ribbon to act as the closure.

The front is decorated with a die from the Sparkle of the Season dies and sentiment is on a piece of cardstock using the Label Me Lovely punch.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Take care all

Hi, so I’ve been making more Christmas cards this weekend.  My upline Kim of simplyfairies.co.uk  showed us how to make this card last week, it’s called a podium block card and I just had to have a go (or three).

Stamp and die sets used (all Stampin’ Up):

Peace and Joy bundle

North Pole Wonder dies

Poinsettia Dies

Build a Wreath dies

Have a great week

Can’t stop making Christmas cards

I probably have more than enough cards for Christmas this year, but I just can’t seem to stop making them.  Today, during a little tidy up I came across this stunning paper by Pion Design called Wi terrine in Swedish Lapland.  I knew exactly what I was going to do with it immediately.  I used the Poinsettia dies from Stampin’ Up, the sentiment in the large card is from the Wishes and Wonder stamp set from Stampin’ Up.

Have a great weekend.

Hot hot hot

 Hi

It’s stupidly hot again today.  Luckily, sitting at my craft desk I get a lovely breeze.  So crafting I will do.

Here’s a card I’ve made for my cousin.  Her birthday isn’t until November, but I’m not one to leave things to the last minute.

This card uses some very old Stampin Up products.  Birthday Bakery stamps and a decorative ribbon punch.  The colours are Blushing Bride and Granny Apple Green and the patterned papers are from the Stampin Up Subtles collection.

Stay safe

Big hugs

Take care.

Christmas in July... just

Not sure if anyone is following, but thought I'd jump on and share a few Christmas cards I made today.  Mostly using Stampin' Up products, both new and old.

This card was a request.  I used Heartwarming Hugs DSP from Stampin' Up, the Turtle is an old stamp from Stamping Bella and I just added a little Santa hat.  The sentiment in from Holiday Cheer from Queen & Co.

This card is using the Poinsettia Petals stamps and dies from Stampin' Up.  The papers are very old from my stash.

Again, using the Poinsettia Petals stamps and dies from Stampin' Up.  The papers are from Stampin' Up, but from last year I think.

If you don't have a Stampin' Up demonstrator, here is a link to shop with me.

Hope everyone is staying safe and well.

Take care
